Applications
1). Papermaking industry: Hydroxypropyl starch is used for internal sizing and surface sizing of paper to make the film smooth and reduce ink consumption.
2). Textile industry: Hydroxypropyl starch can be used as warp slurry to improve the wear resistance and weaving efficiency during weaving. Hydroxypropyl starch with a high degree of substitution can be used as printing paste.
3). Oil drilling industry: Stabilize well walls, improve drilling conditions, prevent collapse, flocculate drilling cuttings, etc.
4). Daily chemical industry: Hydroxypropyl starch is used as adhesive, suspending agent and thickener in daily chemical industry, cosmetics or coatings.
5). In building materials: Hydroxypropyl starch can be used as an adhesive, coating or gelling agent for organic liquids in building materials.
